The Kaddatz Galleries hires local artists for our youth and adult programming. Teaching artists are contracted positions, paid on an hourly basis. Experience working with youth is preferred for our kids programming. We also welcome proposals for classes. The Kaddatz Galleries is an equal opportunity employer.
Teaching fees
Rate for Kaddatz programming (Kaddatz Kidz, Art Table, Etc) is $50 per teaching hour ($25 per hour of classroom time + $25 fixed rate for prep time per teaching hour). For artist led workshops teaching artists can arrange their own pay rate/stipend, which must be approved in advance. The Gallery will add appropriate costs for admin/supplies/rent on the registration fee. Artists will be paid on the first Friday of the month for the previous month unless other arrangements are made. All teaching artists need to submit a W-9 form to the gallery. Supplies The Gallery will provide supplies. Please submit a list of needed supplies at least two weeks before the scheduled workshop. If you are purchasing your own supplies and wish to be reimbursed please submit a list and cost estimate for approval in advance. Pre-approval and receipts are required for reimbursement. Materials paid for by the gallery become the property of the gallery. Classrooms Gallery staff will have the classroom space open and available for one hour before scheduled workshop time. Please make the arrangements with staff if you need additional time to access the classrooms or to prepare equipment and supplies. Volunteers The gallery will have one volunteer assistant available. Please let staff know if you will need more volunteers. |
