Session 1: June 22 - 26 from 1pm - 4pm
Location: Creation Shop
Cost: $150 (all supplies included)
"Inspired by Minnesota: Pottery & Sculpture Adventure," is a hands-on, story-driven workshop where young artists explore the rich artistic landscape of Minnesota while creating their own imaginative clay journey.
Over five workshops, students will explore Minnesota through art, drawing inspiration from natural landscapes like lakes, forests, and prairies, as well as regional art forms such as pottery, sculpture, and cultural traditions. Each day introduces a new clay technique, including pinch, coil, slab, surface carving, and sculptural building.
As they create, students are encouraged to develop their own story, imagine exploring through Minnesota, discovering different environments, materials, and artistic styles along the way. From crafting lake-inspired vessels to carving textures influenced by trees and stone, each project becomes part of a larger narrative.
